2004 "5Kwak Run For Sight"

Here are eleven photos of the 2004 "5K Walk/Run For Sight".  The first five show runners preparing for the race which began at 9 a.m.  The remaining photos feature CWAB participants as they cross the finish line.

The next six photos on this page represent a sampling of activities surrounding the race.

CWAB consumer Virginia Chappell (center) is being interviewed by WSAZ Newschannel 3.

CWAB consumer Jack Harless crosses the finish line with the assistance of a few friends.

CWAB consumer Wanda Annis (left) and her sighted guide smile as they cross the finish line.  Wanda ranked 37th out of fifty runners.

CWAB staff member, Technologist Frank Stull, acts as "emcee" for the event.  Frank, an active ham radio operator also used his communications skills to keep track of runners' positions during the race.

CWAB consumer Lindsey Clagg is relieved as she crosses the finish line.
